EVENT OVERVIEW:

This six-week online workshop gives participants a practical introduction to KPI Management and how to define, structure and apply meaningful performance measures. The series moves from core concepts and common failure points into practical application: deriving KPIs from critical success factors, aligning measures across teams, distinguishing useful from ineffective metrics, and building a KPI deployment plan using the PDCA framework. Participants should leave with clearer performance visibility, stronger decision-making routines, and a practical plan they can adapt to their own organisation.

Understand KPI Management fundamentals, definitions and KPI types.

Identify why KPIs fail and how to align them with management practices.

Derive KPIs from Critical Success Factors and Key Goal Indicators.

Build a practical KPI deployment plan using PDCA and action planning.

Session 1 (45 mins): KPI Management foundations -

KPI definitions common failure points, and how KPI Management connects with existing management practices.

Session 2 (45 mins): KPI types and deployment logic

Bottom-up management, top-down deployment, and what leaders need to make performance visible.

Session 3 (45 mins): CSFs, KGIs and meaningful metrics 

Deriving KPIs from critical success factors and distinguishing useful measures from ineffective ones.

Session 4 (45 mins): Writing, cascading and aligning KPIs

Applying KPI thinking across teams, functions, projects and support environments.

Session 5 (45 mins): PDCA deployment planning

Building a practical KPI deployment plan and connecting daily operational KPIs with long-term goals.

Session 6 (45 mins): Implementation support and next steps

Refining participant plans, addressing real-world challenges, and identifying follow-up actions or coaching needs.
