This A3 program develops structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, AI-supported thinking, and actionable communication.
6 bite-sized sessions over 6 weeks - Wednesday 4,11, 18, 25 November , 2, 9 December 2026
EVENT OVERVIEW:
An A3 is not simply a template to fill in. It is a disciplined problem-solving and communication method that turns messy, situational complexity into clear, shareable logic that others can understand and act on. Across six short online sessions, participants will bring a real problem, build an A3 progressively and apply the method between workshops. AI will be integrated as a structured thinking partner to help frame questions, test assumptions, identify gaps, explore causes and countermeasures, and improve the clarity of the final A3 story. Participants remain responsible for the evidence, judgement and decisions
WHAT ATTENDEES WILL LEARN:
Explain what an A3 is, what it is not, and when to use it for different problem types.
Structure a problem with a clear theme and logical flow from the current situation to the ideal situation.
Break a problem into processes, set meaningful targets and analyse progress.
Perform root cause and critical success factor analysis.
Plan countermeasures and connect results to standardisation and management systems.
Use AI safely to challenge assumptions, identify missing information, generate better questions and strengthen the A3 narrative.
Present an A3 report that earns cooperation and drives action.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Operational excellence, continuous improvement and Lean practitioners; business owners, leaders and managers working across functions; supervisors and team leaders; office, project and service teams dealing with abstract or ambiguous information; and anyone seeking a repeatable problem-solving method that can be taught, improved and embedded into management routines. No previous A3 or advanced AI experience is required.
